The Attic Clean out

So tonight I began the task of sorting through the upstairs attic/ warehouse at the Store.  Along with help from Scott, we oversaw the rambling workers corralled by our dear Bubba.  Herding sheep may have been easier.  Although we have not found anything super spectacular yet, we feel certain the real treasures are further into this anthropological stash. We did uncover some student and child size clothing in good shape and most certainly vintage- heralding back to the early 80″s .  We are unable to process how best to offer these up for purchase as our 12 man hours filled a construction dumpster and barely made a dent .It is sure to be an interesting journey .  Now for a cold one and some quiet reading time snuggled up with my love.  Good Night all

The Attic Clean out

Views from the water

Yesterday I had the joyous experience of viewing HdG from the water .  All I can say is WOW.  How amazing our town looks.  Traveling up the water  from Swan Harbor Farms area, it was wonderful to see all the boat and people.  The park and the promenade were lively .  Fisherman dotted every pier.  The ducks,  geese, heron and eagles were all majestic.  The foot traffic downtown was bustling.  My son was visiting and was very patient with me as I overturned my kayak and took some time righting myself.  He even rescued a baby bottle that was dropped from the promenade.  They say home is where your heart is and mine is right here in Havre de Grace and I would not have it any other way.

Stay tuned for more Jottings from
